Amboseli NP lies at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (5,895m). The mountain dominates every aspect of the park and from Amboseli you have the best views of the snow-capped peak. The park's fragile ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife and is famous for its large herds of elephants. Swamps and springs, fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro's melting snow, provide a watering hole for wildlife and birds during the dry season.

Tsavo East/West National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. It is home to the country's largest herds of elephants, as well as large troops of lions.

Through the scenic Great Rift Valley with breathtaking views of Mount Longonot, Lake Naivasha with its impressive location at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. The lake is an important horticultural area of Kenya. Via a boat trip on the lake to Crescent Island. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as home to thousands of small and large flamingos.

Masai Mara is one of Africa's largest game reserves. Acacia-strewn plains, tree-lined rivers and forests are abundant with wildlife and an array of birds. Wildlife spotting is spectacular all year round; you can see a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephants and their fascinating social structure, or see groups of hippos wallowing in the rivers. The Mara is host to one of nature's wonders - the Great Wildebeest Migration. An estimated two million animals migrate through Tanzania and Kenya throughout the year, following the rains.

Drive north from the province past pineapple and coffee plantations and across the equator to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Make a short stop at the equator. Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is intake centre for chimpanzees rescued from traumatic situations.

Samburu NP: In search of rare wildlife found only north of the equator, such as the reticulated Nile giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk and Somali ostrich. Samburu lies in the vast, hot and arid north of Kenya and borders Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves.
